1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you ("Client", "you", or "your") and MixNmaster and KDUB Productions ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms govern your access to our website, client portals, beat catalog, audio processing pipelines, and related recording software tools.
If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the site and our services, and you must discontinue use immediately.
2. Services We Provide
MixNmaster provides professional online audio production solutions including, but not limited to:
- Audio Stem Mixing: Balancing levels, EQ shaping, dynamic control, pitch/timing correction, spatial reverb/delays, and harmonic saturation.
- Mastering Services: Stereo bus processing, tonal matching, stereo imaging, dynamic limiting, and loudness optimization formatted for Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and broadcast.
- Beat Store & Instrumentals: Licensing and sale of original hip-hop, trap, R&B, and crossover production instrumentals.
- KDUB DAW Recording Studio: In-browser vocal tracking and stem exporting tools for artists.
3. User Accounts & Google OAuth
When creating an account or logging in with Google OAuth, you represent and warrant that:
- All registration info you submit is true, accurate, and current.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and any activities taking place under your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in fraudulent chargebacks or abusive behavior toward engineers.
4. Stem Submissions & Upload Guidelines
To ensure the highest sonic fidelity and prevent project delays, clients must follow our technical stem specifications:
- Synchronized Alignment: All stem tracks must start at 0:00:00 (bar 1, beat 1) so they align seamlessly when imported into our workstation.
- Unclipped Dynamics: Individual audio files must not exceed 0 dBFS and should ideally peak around -6 dBFS to provide adequate mixing headroom.
- File Format: 24-bit or 32-bit float WAV or AIFF files at standard sample rates (44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, or 96 kHz).
You explicitly represent and warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary licenses, permissions, and rights for all musical works, samples, and vocal recordings submitted.
5. Beat Purchases & Licensing Rights
Non-Exclusive License (Lease)
Grants limited commercial distribution (e.g., up to specified audio streams and video views). The producer (KDUB) retains copyright ownership, and the beat remains available for other artists to lease. Credit must be given as: "Prod. by KDUB".
Exclusive License (Buyout)
Grants sole commercial rights. The beat is immediately removed from the catalog. You receive uncompressed WAVs and tracked-out stems with unlimited commercial streams, radio broadcasts, and performances.
In all cases, you may not resell, sub-license, or redistribute raw beat files or loops as standalone instrumental libraries or sample packs.
6. Turnaround Times & Revisions
Turnaround windows (typically 48 to 72 hours depending on tier) start strictly when all required stems, notes, and references are received in verified working condition.
Revisions: Each package specifies an included number of free revision rounds (e.g., adjusting vocal volume, EQ brightness, effect wetness, or bass weight). Revisions must be requested within 14 days of receiving your mix draft. New vocal recordings or newly added instruments not present in the original submission may incur an additional stem fee.
7. Pricing, Payments & Refund Policy
All prices are displayed in USD. Full payment is required upon checkout before work commences.
Refund Policy: Audio engineering is a personalized custom digital service involving irreversible labor hours. Once an engineer has commenced work on your session, orders are non-refundable. However, we are deeply committed to your satisfaction and will work diligently through our included revision rounds to achieve your desired outcome.
8. Intellectual Property & Song Rights
MixNmaster operates on a work-for-hire model for all audio mixing and mastering services. We claim zero ownership, publishing rights, or mechanical royalties in your original musical compositions or lyrics.
The client retains complete, unencumbered rights to exploit, distribute, press, and monetize the resulting finished master recordings worldwide.
9. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Acts
You agree that you will not under any circumstances:
- Upload malicious payloads, viruses, or corrupt archives designed to compromise server infrastructure.
- Submit stolen or pirated stems or master recordings without the creator's authorization.
- Reverse engineer or scrape the KDUB DAW application code or audio algorithms.
10. Warranties & Limitation of Liability
Our services and software are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MixNmaster and KDUB Productions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from lost files or data corruption. We strongly recommend that clients maintain independent local backups of all raw stems and recording sessions.
11. Dispute Resolution & Contact
We believe in treating every artist with respect and resolving any questions through straightforward, honest communication. If you have any inquiries or concerns regarding these Terms, contact us directly:
